Please follow these easy steps to a painless move-in.
Hello everyone
Now that you are moving in, we look forward to working with you to ensure you experience a great school year!
Here are a couple of things to make your move in simple and easy for everyone.
Move in:
Move in time is 4 PM on the 1st of the month. This allows us to get the properties ready for you before the move in.
Front Lawn:
We don't have the sexiest front lawn, but please don't park on it. :)
Repairs Please note that we take great pride in providing you in with a property that is in move in ready. If anything needs to be addressed, or fixed, please let us know, we will be happy to assist. During your fist week, make a list and provide it to us using the link below, we will address everything that concerns you.

Front Door:
On move in day, please let us know what 4-digit code you would like for your front door lock. We will clear all old codes, and we will program it to represent the one you have chosen. (Please never share your code with anyone, this is a breach of security, and is for your own safety). Re-coding will cost 45.00$ if you need to have it changed after move in.
Doorknobs:
If you are changing the doorknob on any of the doors, they must be returned to the original doorknob before your move out. (Keep them handy and put them back on when you move out ) There is a $60 fee for anything not returned to the original item.
Garbage:
Take a second and install the city of Ottawa "garbage app" it will tell you everything you need to know about when garbage is being picked up.
Take advantage of the upcoming garbage days to clear out the excess garbage. We normally ship out garbage bags for your use. Wild animals live everywhere, and your backyard is no exception. If you leave garbage in the backyard the animals will eat it and scatter it everywhere. If this happens, you will need to pick it up within 24 hours.
Dumpster:
Please note that we do have a dumpster available at (I removed an “at” here) the end of the driveway at 1015 Blair road. "BAGS ONLY". Bulky items need to be broken down. Any cardboard boxes should be broken down. Lids must always be closed correctly. If you need to get rid of stinky garbage, feel free to use it.
NO - Painting the walls:
Walls are not to be painted any other color except for pre-approved colors. ( if your wall needs to be painted, please let us know.)
NO - Over the Door hooks: - The 3$ hooks cause thousands of dollars worth of damage every year. Therefore to improve your home, please don't please use them.
NO - Hanging things on the walls:
No holes in the walls please. We understand that personalizing your room is very important to you, but we cant have holes in the walls. if you want to put up posters or other little items, please use items that will not damage the walls.
30 Days to notify us
You have 30 days after the start of your lease to indicate to us any missing furniture, or anything that needs to be addressed. After 30 days we will conclude that everything is great !
Furnace Filters
Keep your air clean - We provide them, you change them Monthly ( on the 1st of every month ) Please let us know if you need more.

Unwanted provided furniture
If there are items that you do not wish to have, please let us know, and we will remove them, It might take up to a week, but we will get there. They are to be placed inside, the house in a secure location where they will not get damaged.
